I have always taken two things to heart that I was told years ago. The first is the good lord above will never place more on your shoulders then you can carry. The second was no matter where you are and what's going on the fact of the matter is your exactly right where your suppose to be. Now if you add to that my thinking of the sun will rise in the east and set in the west. That's one thing you can count on as never changing. You'll find security again. Life will return to normal and once again you'll find your smile. Angels wings mend in time and you'll be soaring in no time. :)

To be honest there is no cure unfortunately. I have had a broken heart a few times in my life, and really and truly, the only thing I could do was cry until I had frog eyes, and literally, CRY until you can't anymore. Because holding it in is not helpful and it will just come out at very inopportune moments.

I guess I am just a big fan of the hissy fit/crying spell because you always feel purged afterwards. And eventually comes the acceptance, and it feels AMAZING.

Hey, Andrea! I would recommend Once Upon A Time - my fav show right now. So sad to see it end yesterday. I'm annoyed with my own lack of motivation. Hate to look at the house/ my life and realize I have neither the energy nor the inclination to improve my environment - only the desire.

So sorry you have seemed to have so much on your plate these days! Hoping you get time to relax, reflect, and heal in the coming days!
Things that bug me today:
-the seemingly unending list of "I don't know"s I've been getting from doctors lately
-the fact that the treatments for illnesses that don't get nearly enough attention and research are sometimes more damaging than what the illness was to start with
-that I must now make the choice to be either in dire amounts of pain by not taking pain killers (which is pretty much unavoidable from the problem above) or take said pain killers and have to take a shot to poop.

You are not invisible. We are not invisible. But we sure feel that way as well as guilty for not being able to do more like you having your parents unpack your things. Wishing you well in your new place.

Great post Annie! I have also found so much support on twitter. There is nothing like someone with the same disease saying "I know how you feel"", because your know they really do!

Keep blogging. Keep smiling. ((hug))

LOve the pic of all the cats and the dog at the door! ha ha

I am HUGELY grateful today because we just saw my 17-year old son off to his senior prom. He has been completely incapacitated by CFS and Lyme for the past year, so it is a huge triumph to see him well enough to enjoy this milestone. He has missed out on so much - I am so happy he doesn't have to miss his prom, too!

Happy weekend!

Hi, Just caught up with your blog. (Went back to work after two months off, so just flopping and sleeping.) I wish I lived near you I would definitely come round and give you some company. However England is a ittle far.
With decorating I think you need something different to your other home as certain colours and looks might have painful associations. Think of you dream room. (you are good at this!)Then go online and search for the best bargains. Sadly it won;t be instantaneous but more of a work in progress - maybe one special item every month or two.

Bigs hugs.

Butter yellow sounds like a good base colour- very warm and cheerful- you just need to accents to bring it out. Think about painting the window trim or adding a line along the walls at the top of the ceiling or midwall. Maybe paint vines and flowers around the window and add colourful curtains with complimentary bed skirt/pillow/sham/throw pillows. There's so much that you can do! Keep browsing Polyvore for colour and decoration ideas- there's lots of ways to do your own accents on the cheap! *hugs*
