Love Me Fridays (on a Monday)

Love Me Fridays (on a Monday)
  • Making a list, checking it twice…(!)
  • Tumblr, for allowing me to express myself when I can’t seem to bring myself to blog – which is happening WAY too often lately and really bumming me out.  I’m just so fatigued lately that I can’t even hold a decent conversation, let alone write a blog post that anyone would want to read.  I don’t know what to do about it.  That aspect of life I’m really NOT LOVING.  Even remotely.  I’m struggling.
  • When the weather is just right for a book (during the snowstorm the other night, I started Wuthering Heights, which is the perfect book for that horrid weather!)
  • I finished the scrapbook for my mom for Christmas, which I’ve been working on for the past six months!  It was such a relief to finish in time!
  • Pantone’s 2014 Color of the Year – Radiant Orchid!  Such a beautiful shade!  I look forward to it being splashed all over everything.

Does anyone have any happy things that they can list to cheer a girl up?  I’d love to hear the good things from a week that someone actually enjoyed!

  1. Love me Tuesday here (actually that has a nice ring to it!)
    - my new hammock
    - the peaches in the garden are nearly ready
    - a cockatoo chewed a branch, complete with pine cones, off the pine tree so I brought it inside as a Christmas decoration, smells Christmassy!

Had to think harder about these ones, after a spate of breaking things I have a lot on the ‘other column’.

Hmm, maybe the orchid purple will grow on me, I think I prefer bolder colours.

  2. Last week I was able to see “Chihuly in The Garden” and luminaria festival at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ. It was beautiful and peaceful, bright and inspiring. Fabulous glass art light up in the desert night. The following day I was flat on my back all day, but it was so worth it. Gentle hugs to you!

  3. I love wuthering heights, such a classic book. I always write my posts a bi at a time and then schedule them to be posted, that way I can still stay on top of my blog but it isn´t too much hard work. I´m not sure if you can do that on your platform? Also, what is your tumblr link? I can follow you :) x Hayley-Eszti
