Well, I’ve finally managed to make a back up of my blog. It took a long time of copying and pasting, but it’s now saved as a word document. I will not be printing it out, as it is about 1800 pages long, but I will now be able to go through it and save the best parts…maybe even compile them into a book format. That will be a long time from now though, as I am exhausted and amazed that I’m even typing sentences right now!
I wish that the world would just magically drop computer ink and a jump drive at my doorstep so that I could continue working on my scrapbook. Futureshop would probably do that if I made up an order. Hrmm… Internet shopping is such a blessing to people with chronic illnesses!
I’ve also started to read Toni Bernhard’s new book How To Wake Up. I swear she and her books are as valuable to me as my rather expensive psychologist that I see monthly. She’s my version of a life guru. If you haven’t read her book How To Be Sick yet, you are missing out on seriously helpful reference material. I check back in with the book often, as it centers me and gives me more hope for every moment.
Now I’m going to attempt to stay awake for a couple of hours!
What books/films/etc… do you refer to when life and illnesses are getting you down? I would love to know!
