This week has been stressful, but I’ll come up with a few things!
- I have a couple of prescriptions to treat Marms, so fingers crossed that they help him battle whatever it is that he’s battling. It’s better than feeling completely useless as he suffers…
- That I own a tablet, because this whole not having a laptop until March is not making me happy. I don’t do well without the Internet. All my friends live in here!
- Cutting magazines into collage pieces at least passes my time.
- Looking forward to reading as this snowstorm blasts through!
Otherwise, I’m a nervous wreck about my kitty, as I won’t be able to go to Florida unless he’s all better. And I WANT to go to Florida, but he’s the most important thing. My poor mother is sick too, so we’re a household of long faces. It’s time to take it easy and see how much snow that this blizzard drops on us!

I hope Marms, you and your mum all feel better soon, plus hope you can jet off to Florida relaxed. If it doesn’t happen then I’m sure they’ll be (some, small) upside to that too.
This week I’m grateful for air conditioning and my mum bringing me the newspaper when she comes to visits. I’m also grateful my husband does the grocery shopping
This week I also came up with the perfect hot weather outfit: cool, comfortable, some sun protection and doesn’t look like I’m wearing pajamas. It is two filmy silk/modal t-shirt dresses (they are a little see through so two are required) with the shorter white one on top to reflect heat and keep the sun off my shoulders; flat gold sandals; leather cuff (I feel like that turns it into an outfit but is comfortable to wear) and the obligatory large sunglasses. I don’t go out often but I feel like I nailed it with this outfit.
