I’ve been really enjoying the switch up in judges on The X-Factor this season!  Bringing in Britney Spears and Demi Lovato really breathed life back into this television program, although The Voice probably still takes the cake as the most unique singing show on TV.

I have a soft spot for this particular reality show for one reason: that I get to watch it with my family.  My father takes a break from being on the computer and my mom stops puttering in the kitchen, and we all crowd around the television downstairs to discuss our favorite talent (and lack thereof).  I love hearing the comments that my father makes about the judges and the competitors.  It really is the one and only show throughout the week that everyone ends up watching together, which makes it truly special for me, even if it isn’t my very favorite.
