NEW TV SHOW :)

The Mindy Project:

My stomach has been an absolute wreck today, which makes it tricky to write anything that makes sense… The best I’ve been able to do is watch some television from last night, so I thought I’d talk about one that I’ve been anticipating, as I love Mindy Kaling as both a writer and an actress!

At first glance it’s definitely quirky and fun, so it fits perfectly in its spot after the wonderful Zooey Deschanel led New Girl!  Mindy’s character is obsessed with rom-coms and dreams of getting married, and having read her book, I don’t think it’s that far off from her normal life (minus being an OBYGYN)!  There were some genuinely funny moments, and for a pilot episode one can’t really ask for more!  My fingers are crossed that the show will get the chance to prove itself!  As time goes on, I expect that the characters will get substantially more three-dimensional.
