After wayyyy too long of having only three television channels and the most slow/intermittent internet since dial-up, we have finally moved into the future (despite the fact that both of our televisions are at least 15 years old)! Fast Internet and lots of cable channels (plus a favorites package so that I get things like the Food Network and Fashion Television!) are now mine. The entertainment level in this household has been upped! My heart still lies with books and art though, but the faster Internet allows me to access more of these things.
On top of that, we managed to get ourselves a DVR to go with the whole thing! I can tape all of the shows that I like and then watch them whenever I get the urge! Everyone reading this blog probably already has that luxury, but it sure seems like a novelty to me!
It’s been a long time since I just zoned out to things like What Not To Wear or How It’s Made…plus, it gives me something to do as I try to tackle filing away my thousands of emails that I’ve avoided checking over the last four months thanks to a nice bout of depression. Talk about an overwhelming task.
This is what my family is like around the television. Mind you, we aren’t cats. Unfortunately.
The other reason all of my time goes nowhere haha!
What is everyone else using to procrastinate these days? I’d love to know!
xoxo,
Annie

I procrastinate, or give myself a some motivation, by reading interesting blogs about how other people are managing to live their lives. Thanks Annie for a good read and the insight into yours!
I’m on the young side of middle aged and it is hard to see my friends getting on with their careers and families but I’m making some new friends who are letting me see into their valuable, interesting lives and how they manage ME and fibromyalgia.
xx
Aww, thank you SJ – it is hard to watch everyone moving on while you feel like you’re standing still, but we can be friends!! Thank you for enjoying my blog! It means a lot to me <3
